Bob Beaury received a B.A. degree from Rowan University and an M.S. degree from Boston University. He is one of the founders of the Ideas to Action organization and acts as the prime facilitator for the Entrepreneurs Boot Camp. From 1992 to 2001, Beaury was the President and CEO of Broadband Networks, Inc. Starting with six employees, he grew the company to $10M in revenues and more than 70 employees. Prior to joining BNI, Bob was the Director of Marketing for C-Cor.net, responsible for the company's product management, sales engineering and development activities. He has extensive sales, marketing and international business experience having also worked at General Instrument and Kulicke & Soffa.

Jack Matson is a Professor of Civil Engineering with a strong interest in creativity, leadership, and entrepreneurship. Dr. Matson was the founding director of Penn State's Leonard Center for Enhancement of Engineering Education.

Dr. Matson holds a B.S. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toledo, and a PhD in Environmental Engineering from Rice University.

Matt Poese is a research associate for the Applied Research Lab at Penn State. He is also co-founder of ThermoAcoustics Corporation, which commercializes thermoacoustic devices that provide efficient, quiet, and environmentally-friendly cooling systems.

Dr. Poese holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, and an M.S. and PhD in Acoustics from Penn State.

Gul Kremer brings her interests in entrepreneurship, engineering design, and multi-criteria decision-making to each E-SHIP course she teaches. In addition to her extensive research and publications, she received the Air Force Summer Faculty Fellowship Award (Human Effectiveness Division) from 2002-2005. Dr. Kremer was also listed in Who's Who in America's Teachers in 2004-2005, and is a member of Alpha Iota Delta, the Decision Sciences Honorary Society.

Dr. Kremer holds a B.S. and M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Yildiz Technical University (Istanbul, Turkey), an M.B.A. in Production Management from Istanbul University (Istanbul, Turkey), and a PhD in Engineering Management & Systems Engineering from University of MO-Rolla (Rolla, Missouri).

Born and raised in Kenya, Madara Ogot holds a BSE in Mechanical Engineering from Princeton University, and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State. He moved onto join the faculty at in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Rutgers University in 1991 as an Assistant Professor, assuming the rank of Associate Professor in 1997.

Dr. Ogot returned to 'Happy Valley' in 2003 as an Associate Professor with a joint appointment in the School of Engineering Design, Technology and Professional Programs, and the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.

Mark Righter is a partner at McQuaide Blasko law offices, and currently serves as Vice President of the firm. Mr. Righter's practice areas include corporate law, intellectual property law, litigation and government contracting. Mr. Righter also serves as general counsel to numerous Pennsylvania start up companies, and provides advice on issues of corporate governance and finance, and intellectual property protection and management.

Mr. Righter has tried numerous cases before judges and juries throughout Pennsylvania, and has negotiated contracts governing a broad spectrum of research and technology issues on behalf of The Pennsylvania State University. He also counsels the University and its Applied Research Laboratory on issues relating to export law and federal procurement law.
